1. What MercaIndex is

MercaIndex is a real estate price index and market transparency tool for the Dominican Republic. We collect, normalize, and present publicly available property data from the internet to provide greater visibility and context to buyers, investors, and industry professionals.

MercaIndex is not a real estate agency, real estate brokerage, law firm, or investment advisory service. We do not broker purchases, sales, or rentals. We do not represent any party in real estate transactions.

2. Data sources and content ownership

The data presented on MercaIndex comes from public internet sources, including real estate portals, classifieds, and agency websites. The titles, descriptions, photographs, and prices of each property belong to their respective authors, agents, brokers, or source platforms.

MercaIndex does not claim ownership of third-party content. Each listing includes attribution to the original source and a direct link so users can verify the information and contact the advertiser directly.

Images are displayed by linking to the source servers (hotlinking). MercaIndex does not store copies of property photographs on its own servers.

3. Content removal request

If you are the owner, agent, or legal representative of a listing and want its content removed from MercaIndex, you may request removal by emailing:

legal@everholddigital.com

Please include the following in your request:

• The URL of the MercaIndex listing you wish to remove
• The URL of the original listing at the source
• Your name, company, and relationship to the content
• A statement that you are the owner or authorized representative

We will process legitimate removal requests within a reasonable period, generally within 5 business days.

4. Data accuracy

MercaIndex applies a normalization and quality-scoring process to identify potentially incorrect data. However, the data reflects what the original advertisers published and may contain errors, omissions, outdated prices, incorrect currencies, or incomplete information.

The user is responsible for verifying all information directly with the advertiser, agent, or broker before making any purchase, investment, or financing decision.

When our algorithms detect a price significantly outside the expected range for a zone, a visual warning is shown. This is not a definitive assessment — only a signal that the data warrants further verification.

5. Non-affiliation with brokers, agents, or companies

MercaIndex is not affiliated, associated, sponsored, or endorsed by any of the real estate agents, brokers, promoters, developers, or companies whose listings appear on this platform. Inclusion of a listing on MercaIndex does not imply any commercial relationship, identity verification, or guarantee of the advertiser's legitimacy.

MercaIndex does not verify advertisers’ identities, licenses, credentials, or reputations. Some listings may come from unregulated sources or individuals operating without a real estate license. MercaIndex assumes no responsibility for the actions, omissions, false statements, or fraudulent conduct of third parties whose listings appear on the platform.

6. Not investment advice

No content on MercaIndex — including the MercaIndex Score, price comparisons by area, rankings, market statistics, or any other metric — constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice.

The MercaIndex Score is an algorithmic indicator that combines data quality (30%), price position within the exact cohort (35%), and completeness of retained auditable fields (35%). It does not use the description or first-seen date. It is not a purchase recommendation or an assessment of a property's actual value. Consult qualified professionals before making real estate investment decisions.

7. Acceptable use

MercaIndex is designed for personal and research use. The following is not permitted:

• Mass or automated scraping of MercaIndex data
• Unauthorized commercial redistribution of our data or analyses
• Use of the data to generate misleading communications or spam
• Attempting to access non-public internal systems, databases, or APIs

10. Limitation of liability

MercaIndex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or continuous availability of the data or service.

In no event shall MercaIndex, EverHold Digital LLC, its operators, employees, or agents be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to investment decisions based on data presented on this platform.

11. Free tools and previous requests

MercaIndex’s public market and lookup tools are free. We no longer offer reports. We do not accept payments.

If you need help with a previous request or charge, email everholddigital@gmail.com with the reference you have. Retiring the service does not cancel outstanding commitments to previous requests. Never send card numbers or banking credentials by email.
